With the boom of high-fashion in the 90s, men’s clothing on the runway became very disconnected with what real men on the streetwere wearing, or interest in wearing. “Regular guys” (those who didn’t actively follow fashion) had no desire to wear designer clothing which they often found impractical, fussy and over the top.

Today a new breed of menswear designers have emerged, one that is making clothing that is functional, versatile, approachableand cool.

And of course, these designers/brands have thought about the entire package, including finishing off their crisp looks with neatly groomed facial hair.
