Lancôme Spring 2010 Make-up Collection
A POP interlude

Light and luminous shades. A tribute to liberty and "joie de vivre". Lancôme invites you to a preview of Aaron de Mey's new collection, a celebration of beauty with a "French touch".

The early sixties - a wind of freedom is blowing over Paris: art, film, music. nothing resists this fresh and modern wave. Pop Art shakes up the artistic landscape, the Nouvelle Vague breaks with cinematic tradition, Serge Gainsbourg revolutionises music, free-spirited girls twist on the dance floor, and no designer creation is complete without a miniskirt…

Aaron wanted to create a collection which paid homage to this sensual and liberated time. Ô My Rose! is centred on three sheer and resplendent shades for a sheer and sensual make-up result: delicate coral tones ranging from mandarin sorbet to intense tangerine, deep aqua green and hints of golden beige.

Aqua green magnifies the intensity of the eyes whilst coral swathes the lips in sumptuous shine and brings colour to the cheeks, creating a naturally striking deliciously pop look.

In a tribute to those days, he is now giving a modernised reinterpretation of this gentle and sensual, luminous and lively woman, in which we all love to see ourselves mirrored.

Pop N'Cheeks
Spring Lancôme 2010 Collection 2

Aaron De Mey reinvents Lancôme’s emblematic rose in pop style, creating Pop’n'Cheeks, a fresh-glow blush. Designed to suit every skin tone, its delicately pearlescent coral and sandy tones refresh the complexion instantly, infusing it with radiance. Subtle yet resplendent, Pop’n'Cheeks reveals an exquisitely healthy and natural glow.

Aaron’s Tip : “Blend all of the Pop’n'Cheeks shades together with a large brush and apply generously, sweeping from the cheekbones to the temples. To sculpt the face, use the light shades on the cheekbones and the darkest shade in the hollow of the cheeks”.

“Pop’n'Cheeks can also be applied to the eyes, using a shading technique: begin by applying the lightest shade along the brow line, then work towards the lash line using gradually darker shades of the same colour”.

B.B. Kiss
Spring Lancôme 2010 Collection 3

You will succumb to the charms of the B.B Kiss "liptoy"! More than a lipstick, B.B Kiss is a delicious pastel-toned wand that glides over the lips, delivering a pearl pigment concentrate and swathing them in a gorgeous coral shade. B.B Kiss can be applied dry to delicately veil the lips in colour, or wet for a more intense metallic effect.

Aaron’s Tip : “Apply one of the new Color Fever Gloss as a top coat over B.B Kiss to create pure, high-shine colour. Complete the look with a touch of B.B Kiss on the cheekbones for an instant spring-time glow”.

Spring Lancôme 2010 Collection 4

Lancôme’s must-have gloss is reinterpreted in two deliciously glossy shades… Juicy mandarin orange tones with shimmering coral hints, evoking seashell necklaces and the glisten of golden sand…

These sensual hues ensure a sumptuously full lip finish, applied either alone, as a top coat over B.B Kiss, or simply dotted onto the centre of the lips.

Aaron’s Tip : “Apply touches of the lightest shades to the facial contours, to illuminate the complexion”.

Pop'N'Palette
Spring Lancôme 2010 Collection 5

An intense eye colour quad, presented in a customised polka dot case, reminiscent of the most emblematic pop art canvases.

Pop’n'Palette is available in two colour harmonies: petroleum shades, to create sumptuously dark green smoky eyes, and a copper quartet, to make eyes truly sparkle.

Khôl Gloss
Spring Lancôme 2010 Collection 6

Available in this season’s three star shades of aqua green, golden sand and vibrant copper, Aaron De Mey creates this high shine eye pencil. Its uniquely radiant, vinyl-like texture gives eyes a resplendent dewy effect.

Aaron’s Tip : “Apply Khôl Gloss as a block of colour over the eyelid, before adding a touch of powder shadow to the corner of the eyes to sculpt the eyelid, playing on a matte-shine contrast for this season’s must have look”.
