Like any other beauty routine, it takes a bit of practice to master your waxing technique. Be sure to read the complete directions and warnings in the package when using any wax product for the first time. Start by testing a small area where hair is to be removed and wait few hours. If skin appears normal, proceed.

To get the most satisfying results, check out some of these tips:

Skin should be clean and dry, free from oils, creams, lotions, moisturizers and perspiration. Wash skin with soap and water, and dry thoroughly before waxing. We recommend that you lightly dust the area to be waxed with powder, particularly when the climate is hot and humid. Don't wax immediately after a hot bath or shower.

You need:

  • warm wax
  • coton strips
  • scissors
  • alcohol for the bikini line
  • baby powder
  • moisturizing cream

 

Technique

When waxing, work in small areas. Apply wax in an area 5 to 7,5cm / 2 to 3 inches long and about 5cm / 2 inches wide or use a single waxing strip. Remove as directed before applying wax to another area.

When removing wax – stretch the skin with one hand, holding the skin taut and with the other hand, lift the lower edge of the wax strip with the fingertips. The speed that you apply and instantly remove each strip is key to perfect hair removal. For a silky smooth treatment, strips should always be whisked off in one quick movement in the opposite direction of hair growth.

Remove any wax residue with hydrating cream.
